There have been several similar threads in the past, it might be interesting to look them up.

Heath and Kelly Stewart from Saltriver definately get my thumbs up. I have never heard anything unsavoury about them or their methods and I have seen them in action so highly recommended from me.

Watkins recently broke in my horse for me and i couldnt be happier. He has been home for almost a month and has not put a foot wrong. I love the mouth that Fred puts on them and felt totally comfortable getting on a breaker for my first ride on a horse in 2yrs. I would send another horse to them in a flash and Oakley will probably head back up there in a few months for refresher after he has a break.

definately ask people's opinions in person - only good things can be posted on a forum... you need to know how the breaker reacts/resolves things when things go wrong (because they can and do go wrong). you need the good teh bad and the ugly, but on the forum only the good can be written....

It also pays to get the trainers version of events if people are going to PM you horror stories.

As said before, a forum is not a good place to get advice, there are many people around far to willing to give you a version of events that have been twisted over time.

i broke my girl in myself but was looking at Watkins.

mum spoke to Rachel when they were both jump judging at serpy. was very impressed how she remembered heaps of horses coming through that she had broken in and seemed very knowledgeable. i think its lovely to be able to have someone thats had tonnes of horse go to them and leave that they still rember them
