101 Dressage Exercises, or something like that. Great book, full of exercises with diagrams.

If you want the dressage movements try the DVD accurate school figures - shows riders and talks you thro how to ride them

I agree, we started trotting pole work with my TB who likes to 'bounce' instead of going forward from time to time. It really encourages the back end to step up under and for them to reach. It is working great with my boy. Poles aren't just for jumping horses as I have no intention of competitively jumping!

I woulde get the 101 Schooling exercises first if you are only starting out, coz the dressage one, while a great book, is a little advanced.
