Default Horse biscuits!

A few weeks ago I posted looking for horse biscuit recipes.

I found heaps and I adjusted a few to fit with what I had at hand and they turned out really well, I am quite happy. 3 out of 4 equine taste testers loved them...one...well, she's just fussy!

This was my recipe:

1 1/2 cups self raising flour
1/2 cup vegie oil
1/3 cup golden syrup (could also use molasses but I had the golden syrup handy!)
2 grated carrots
3 grated apples
1 1/2 rolled oats (just the type you use for porridge)

Mix the whole lot togther, spoon into little balls and 'squish' them down onto a sheet of baking paper. Pop them in the oven for a bit and voila! Horse biscuits!

(They smell good too!)

All wrapped up and ready to go:

"Can I pppllleeeaassee have some more?" Asks Gypsy!
