I spotted your message in Stockyard.

I don't know the prices and it also depends on what you want from your camera. If you buy a DSLR you end up needing lots of lenses typically which is more expensive. If you buy what they call a bridge camera which has a range of zooms and is normally pretty good that might do what you want.

I am not sure where you are but if you have a chat with the guys at Midland Camera House and tell them I sent you they may do a bit of a deal on the price of something. they may also offer better advice as to what to get.

The price may not beat an internet deal but you can at least spak to them personally if you need to.
