Hi, I've tried to reply to your Kalbarri thread but I have sooooo much trouble with Stockies these days that it's almost impossible to even just post anything.
Anyway, i've just had a week in Kalbarri, and had a fabulous time. There's a trail riding place there, so you can go for a ride. There's lots of other activities, like sandboarding, canoeing, adventure tours. There's a seahorse aquariam, and a big parrot aviary. If you're into fishing there are plenty of opportunities to fish the ocean or the Murshison River. There are also the gorges in the National Park, which are just spectacular, and well worth taking one or two of the extended walks that take you away from the tourists. We went to Nature's Window, and did the 4 hour round loop walk from there - it was well worth it. What else - every morning they feed the pelicans down at the river mouth - can't remember what time, might have been 9 or 10am?? Plus there's plenty of rugged coastline to explore, and the wildflowers should be coming out by now. You'll love it and find it very relaxing. Have fun.
