When i made a claim i had the money back within a few weeks.

did you read the policy?
"N.B. The amount payable is limited to the applicable amount below or the same as the BASIC COVER above, whichever is the lesser.
$1,000 or $2,000 a year per Horse as specified"

This is MUCH different to Petplan...
Section..................................Maximum each Year....Excess
Vet’s Fees Section 3 (normal).....$10,000...................$ 200

Personally i could find $2k but not $10k...
