Default is this banned???

hi all

i have a pacer in full racing work and have been told to feed him COLLOIDAL SILVER (by a animal physic - don't laugh). and i am trying to find out if it is swabable or not. any ideas??

ingredients include

99.98%fine silver suspended in purified water
or
filtered purified water, silver ions (16-20ppm.mg/l)

i can't see any reason why not but don't want to feed until i know.

please help..

Have no idea sorry, but slightly hijacking your thread here.
Can anyone tell me if Comfrey ( in the powdered form ) and Arnica give a positive swab at all?
Thanks

Hi Banjo,
I am quite sure the silver is safe to use.
One of the original distibutors- also trained pacers- used it freely in the horses, as well as themselves.

Just call Judith or Peter on 9277 0759.

Mudslide,

I used an arnica based cream many years ago on a horse's knee, and was warned of possible positive readings, but i can not find any info to confirm that that is still the case. I do remember that particular cream worked very well on myself.
As with most 'natural' type remedies, I would assume you would need to use a heck of a lot of the product to get a reading.

haha, don't you love it when they are supposed to be the experts and can't even tell you what is and what isn't swabbable?

If they don't know, who the heck should!
