Kasper

Your boy is:
"Oblong" (NZ)
Life Number: NZ00209558
bay gelding
Date of Birth: 10/11/1999

Microchip Number: N/A
DNA Typed: N

by Blues Traveller (IRE) 1990
from Comedy (NZ) 1988

bred by Mr RJ Knight

He was imported from New Zealand on the 19th of November 2001.

Hes had 19 starts for 2 wins, 1 second and 1 third. $9,500 in prizemoney.

Has one embargo that is described as "Suspension (papers) on the 29th December 2003, Location WAGG, and was re-instated 3rd January 2004." No idea what that means, sorry.

Nothing nasty in his stewards reports. Just a 'jockey dropped whip' and 'raced wide'.

His trainer was Greg Carige (Bunbury). They had tried a combination of blinkers and tongue tie on him at stages during his career.

Current owners are listed as being Mrs MA Carige, Mr GA Braybrook and Mr LE Swift.

Raced at Bunbury and Pinjarra. He also raced in the Northern Territory with races at Darwin and Tennant Creek.

Ran dead last in his last three races - his last race was the 3/4/05 in Bunbury.
Here is the link to his ID certificate: http://www.studbook.org.au/horseidce...spx?hid=769306

Hope that is what you are chasing

Hey kiraspark,
Kids took ova computer last nite, how dare they! I know the works you are talkin bout now. I live north of that and dont often go to bunbury so wasnt thinking of that lot. There is a guy doing earthworks further north along the estuary and that was what i thought you were talking about. Cheers, Jo

Hi Preston, sorry cant tell you anything because online records dont go that far back, prior to 2003 they are a bit hit and miss, let alone 24 years ago!
Assuming your horse is a TB, your best bet if you really want to know and feel like parting with $50 is to go here Racing Information Services Australia

Kids. Geeze! lol.
I cant wait until the contract is done, its awful having OH work away.
The bridge works are pretty full on too, those guys have been there for ages and arent even a quarter of the way across the Collie River yet!
