I have seen a couple with brands on one side that have raced. Will ask the other half in the morning he might remember their names. They were older horses in terms of racing 6-9 plus so it may have been a thing to do it during those years.

Could someone please search 6 over 6 , 400. He's an old boy (23) so I don't know if I'll have much luck.

Hi, could one of you lovely ladies please see what info you can find on my mare?
Name - Brandys' Fill
Stable name - Marli
Sire - Redding (NZ)
Dam - Second Look (NZ)
Brand offside - 23 over 2
Brand nearside - sTs
Colour chestnut with white on front offside leg and a small star.

Marli was bred in the Bunbury area and as far as I know was started but I don't know if any more than that happened. She was purchased by someone in Albnay who's son rode her but apparently they didn't get on???
If no info is available on her would it be possible to see if her dam did anything?
I have found a bit of info on her sire.
Also could you suggest where I should start a thread to see if any Bunbury stockies may know her as she would have been in training over there only a few years ago.
Cheers.

PS please excuse her 'just got outta bed' look. The farrier trimmed her yesterday and she is sore this morning and not her usual self.

Hi Flogga

According to the ASB website, she was bred in WA by Mr J Eoannidis but her ID certificate was done by the Independant Stallion Station in Victoria. So she must have been present in Vic at some stage, for it to be completed.

Her trainer is listed as Bernadine Dudley in Wattleup but she never ended up racing. She is listed as being owned by Mr A Malanese.

Thanks Kiraspark. What is the Ind. stallion Station?
That's interesting about her trainer. Wattelup isn't Bunbury. Makes me wonder what other bull #$@% I was fed by the person I bought her from.
I was told she was syndicate owned and it went bust.
Where's the best place to post a thread to ask if any stockie strappers might know her?

I have no idea what the Independant Stallion Station is....maybe some kind of breeding centre?? Id just be guessing though. Edited to add - I just Googled it and it seems to be some kind of stallion collection centre, they stand shuttle stallions and I would say its a vet clinic too, so I guess thats where she went to get her ID certificate done, as it has to be completed by a vet.

According to the ASB website she isnt syndicate owned but maybe she may have been in the past.

Definitely this section (Horse Racing) would be the best for posting a thread if anyone knows her.

Thanks for your info. I will repost a new thread and see if anyone knows her.
If by some remote chance they squeezed a foal out of her would it show up on the ASB website?

Yes it would and no she hasnt. lol! But it would only show if she was bred to another TB. Not if she was put to an arab or warmblood or something.
