Default TUTORIAL; How To Post Pics

Finally I got around to it I have seen so many people still not knowing how to post pics so here we go.

1. Upload photos from camera or scanner

2. You will probably need to resize images other wise they will be TOO BIG. That's a whole different tutorial together depending on what image programs you have on your computer. I have PaintShop Pro & so can help with that if you have it.

3. Save your image as a jpg, preferred.

4. Sign up for a Free Image and Video Hosting - Photo Image Hosting Site : Photobucket.com account, once in there you can upload photos.

5. To upload photos it will look like this
A. http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m...ial/Image1.jpg
Click on 'Browse' button

B. http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m...ial/Image2.jpg
A pop up bow will appear, find your image and press 'OK'

C. http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m...ial/Image3.jpg The Image will show up in the little box, and Click 'Upload'

D. http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m...ial/Image9.jpg The Images will show up under the upload box. Copy the top Url To use to post on stockyard.

6. To Post it on stockyard you used to have to your little codes, but since the new form is up there is a little button we can press it looks like this(highlighted in pink)
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m...ial/Image8.jpg

7. After clicking the image button a little popup will come up
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m...ial/Image4.jpg paste the url code that you copied from photobucket.com and press 'ok'

8. http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m...ial/Image6.jpg The Image will show up in the text box in the codes. Finished writing your text and submit your post, and the photo will come up

I hope thats easy to understand

Hey Pepsea....

I have edited few spelling mistakes for you but I am pleased to see this up for newcomers on this forum.....you've made it a bit easier for them to go step by step!

So hopefully the newcomers will look up on that to work out how to put photos up for us to see as we LOVE photos!!

Cheers,
Mod 1

P.S. I hope it was ok for me to edit your few mistakes....to make it look better

Pepsea,

Actually this morning I did thought of that this thread could be a sticky topic for the new members! I will pm Admin and ask if this thread could become one...

if your pics are hosted in photobucket you copy the URL link then put the curser in your post where you wish the pic to go, click on the picture icon at the top of the reply box, paste it into there then click ok and it should show up straight away.

hi danielle. click on 'user cp' up the top and go into 'edit avatar' then either enter the url of the photo you want, or upload one from your computer.
