Default Hygain Growtorque

Just wondering how much to feed a 11 month old baby, shes just under 13 hh at the moment, she has pony breeding and does get fat easy as they do. I cant seem to find on the bag though at how much to feed per 100gms just wonderingif anyone has fed this to young one and how much you fed. I was using grower weanling pellets but changed because I would like something with a bit more in it.

No more than 1kg a day.

Horses can only communicate through behaviour. The worse the behaviour, the dumber the owner. Mr HP.

I feed 2kgs to a nearly 2 year old warmblood at 550kg, so for a pony I agree with Caroline, no more than a kilo - recommended starting rate is 500g.

I would start out at around 500gms per day and then slowly increase up to a maximum of 1kg per day over the next few weeks or until you feel that the horses condition is telling you enough.

We do try and put basic recommendations on the bags but horses are all so different that your own eye remains the best guide.

Good luck with it. Im sure you will be pleased for as I believe I may have mentioned on this forum before Grotorque and it's sister feed Showtorque are in my opinion the best feeds we make.

I have a 3 yr old QH on Showtorque, and have just brought a 27month old Fresian warmblood filly home from spell, should she still be on grow torque or is it better to put her ontp show torque now?
