Default Any ideas?

Our little old man is coming home today(long story!) and I'm not quite sure what to do feedwise!! I used to feed him Hygain Senior but they reckon he foundered while he was gone so not sure about feeding that anymore?? He can't seem to manage Gumnuts and won't eat it if I mush it up. They've been giving him coolmax but is there enough in that for an oldie?? Thanks in advance

How old, what breed and height, what body condition, good doer or bad doer??

Is he in any level of work??

What was/is he being fed now?? Exact quantities in kgs!

Is his teeth and worming up to date??

Etc..........................

So many factors to know before I can advise.

No he didn't founder because of the Senior-more likely because they didn't do his feet for months and left him in a lush green paddock!! Hes 22yrs, 9hh mini x in pretty good nick bodywise. Teeth and worming are done and no hes not in work at all. I went with the Hygain Ice but am still open to suggestions......don't want to feed him too much protein which is why I've avoided Senior, Studmaster and the like. He's just on Ice,chaff and hay with one of the advanced vit/min mix. He gets handfuls not kilos so will have to check weights!!
