Tehe..normal horses! I'm pretty sure only ones now in a green zone (ie resolved) are allowed to move? Unless of course they are TB! Pity TB's dont do AI..I bet that then semen would be allowed to be transported!

My mare is booked to Jive Magic...But am seriously thinking about breeding a riding pony instead...(you know...one under 17hh!)..This year will be her last...And it doesnt look like will be able to get JM semen until next season now...I dont mind a late foal...So will wait till feb march to make a definate decision...

Who knows...Now that the TB breeding season is over (14th jan)...They might start listening to the rest of the population!...You know the TB industry is predicting that the foal crop will only be 5-10% less next year...They dont seem to have been to hard done by?!hmmm...

Mad Cow - why are you even looking at "normal" horses, surely you would only consider getting a "special" horse. Look at Special Larry and Special foalies, I think that should be your prefix "MC Special"

Bit late to breed this season though LOL.

At least it looks good for next year as I am going to try for early foals from the ones I didn't get to breed this year

Yep, well, there is that!
But most of my foals are born january anyway...so a late feb foal (if she takes first time...dreaming again!) wouldnt be that much later...and at least theres no flies that time of year!
