In a colour class (if he is pinto, not paint) you present them as a riding horse of the breed they are If they are an "english" breed, plaited, trimmed etc, a western breed, banded and a mini as a mini is shown, free flowing. You dress accordingly
.....and where are photos

oops just saw that he is a paint. So usually they are shown western

*maybe you should ask mods to put this in the show section...you will probably get more hits

We need some photos I think!! What is his name/breeding??
Can be registered pinto if he is coloured. Have you joined PHAA and SPHAWA? There are a few of us painted pony peoples on here that can help you with memberships, showing etc!
Paints are generally shown western!

Hi Valdez Welcome to the world of paints! And congrats on your purchase!
You will need to be a member of the Paint Horse Association of Australia (PHAA) to show your horse in paint classes and these horses are usually shown in western attire. You could also join the Statewide Paint Horse Assoc of WA (SWPHAWA) and receive our newsletters and earn show points towards our end of year awards etc.
Your boy could also be registered with the Pinto Association and then could be shown in pinto classes and they usually show in english gear and attire.
Feel free to ask for any help with showing your paint!

Plenty of pintos are shown western, especially if they are paints
