i was told once that smutty chestnuts are more likely to throw a dilute foal to a dilute. I dont know if it really makes any difference, i mean genetically its still 50/50

Kylie, I saw that little lady in the flesh and the is super duper, she is one lovely little girl and a gorgeous colour!

This is our little pally baby, he was born quite red, in the dark at first mum thought he was chestnut wasnt til the next morning in the daylight she knew he was cream. Mare is a flaxen chestnut, and quite pale normally.

(he is nearly as big as him mum already at just 1month old )

Sassy, I wouldn't be surprised if yours ends up a lovely medium gold (the one of mine that was born 'red' is the most magnificent medium gold now) and Remaani, that one by Jet will probably be dark gold albeit quite striking particularly if her mane & tail stay white - I've had a couple born that colour and they're quite dark now but with their white manes and tails they are absolute stand outs in the paddock (plus they have iridescence that glows so ...).
