Default Can anyone tell me what colour?

Hi everyone,
I'm new here and I have to confess I don't understand much about colour, does anyone know what colour my mare is? I've been told she is Palamino but she never gets any darker than this.

It would depend on her parents, if you know what colour they were, she could be a "false "palomino...chestnut/apricot, or maybe a cream. Is her mane that colour..or is it the good old Darwin dirt?

Goodie, I have no idea what her parents were all I know is she came out of Arnhem Land, apperently she was one of Rod Ansell's horses (the croc Dundee guy who went looney and was shot by police)
Her mane is actually lighter than that when she hasn't been in the red mud.

Robbing'charisma, I'm considering breeding her and wondering what with at the moment.

Horsetalk, sorry you can't see the photo I don't know how to fix that.

Deanna

An andalusian would be a nice mix! The most stunning offspring!

Oh wow an andalusian, that would be nice. I don't think there are any here though. I've only ever seen photos of them, are they a predominantly grey breed?
I would have to go chilled semen, it might be worth it though,
Deanna.
