OK colour experts, I need your help/opinions.

I don't plan to cover her until next year but what do you think the colour possibilities would be from mating Hootch to Ziggy and what are the chances of getting colour?

Hootch is registered brown/black. Parents and grandparents colouring is predominantly chestnut/sorrel with a few bays as well.

Ziggy is a bay tobero with 2 blue eyes( I think don't quote me) from a chestnut mare, grandparents etc chestnut. Her sire is a bay tobero with 2 blue eyes who was from a sire of the same colouring out of a chesnut qh mare.

All opinions welcome.

No, she had a sarcoid cut out about 5 weeks prior to the pic. Scar is now even smaller. have some real gruesome pics of that!!

Ah ok cos its hard to see from the pic thats why I asked.
Ink spots are associated with homozygosity.

No ,homozygosity simply means dominant.
OLWS is caused by having 2 horses that are both carriers and its connected with a frame gene.

Her dam is plain chestnut with a tiny star, that's it, so it was kinda a bonus when she threw such a loud foal.
I'd be over the moon if ziggy could do the same.

Well from the link that remaani gave me, I shouls have around a 37% chance of getting a framed tobiano and 0.75% of getting a black lol
