Ink spots (cats paws, whatever you wish to call them) should be the associated colour on the white areas.
So, on a chestnut Tobiano i know thats homozygous, he has irregular chestnut smaller spots over him. These are not appy markings.

As the mares dam is solid, she cant be homozygous.

She's very nice BM, have you reg her as a Pinto?

She's having another growth spurt at the moment and has gone all leggy and lean. She's gonna be a pretty big girl when she's finished growing. Her dams only 14.2 and she's already taller than her.
She definatley took after her sire in more than just colour lol

I love the blue eyes, makes her look so evil when the ears go back lol
