Default What Colour is my Horse?

Ok, I've never really taken an interest in horse colours but there seems to be so many different theories out there about colour and I know so little I would like to find out more.

A few people have mentioned to me recently that he is a different colour to what I first thought. I thought he was a Chestunut with a flaxen mane and tail? Is this correct and could someone give me a bit more information?

Sorry they're not better photos- both are also taken at different times of the year, the top one is at the start of winter and the bottom one is the middle of summer.

I had one a similar colour (more liver chestnut with flaxen mane/tail), and the dentist/brander wrote him as Pally....He was told he'd done the wrong horse then!!!

He's an orange...a blonde orange....good luck!
