If you want to breed a red dun PH, try breeding to Cayuse Jesse McMighty he has thrown predominatly(SP) red duns... Hes is a solid Appy and on the "other" site in the for sale section..

Well after taking Denny to the Winterama he may actually be Grulla Dun as he has barring on his legs so will need to get a genetic test done for cream any way here he is just after clipping



I will have some photos of him at Darling Range to post soon (soon as I get my camera cord thingy back lol)

Colourwise he is a grulla (pronounced 'grewya' ) which is dun working on black with no agouti present. If he is throwing red duns he also carries a copy of red.

Thanks Tintara, i realise he is a Grulla but PH wanted to breed a red dun and Jesse has thrown about 90% red duns over a variety of different colours which is why i suggested him....

dont want to breed a red dun just a dun not fussy on color just markings
as my girl is a in between color i would be interested to know what people thought as to what color to breed her to

We have 2 dun mares 1 very rich in colour and the other slightly lighter she has been champion at barastoc 3 or 4 times now . both due foals to monty in sept and oct this year exciting times for all
