Well done Arylin!
Congrats to the owners!
Foaling alarms are no good when a mare foals standing up
Our foaling alarm saved lives of 4 mares and 4 foals in a period of 10 years.

Happy to hear everything was ok, Must have been very traumatic for all involved. I'm so lucky to have the mare I am leasing at an experienced stud. I hope to be there but it makes me feel better knowing mare and foal are in safe hands.

VERY lucky everything came together for this foal and the mare Arylin....... fantastic that you were able to get there and help!!!

Another one putting my hand up saying I dont trust foaling alarms! The times we have used them (on the TB stud), only about 40% of the time they actually went off when the mare was foaling....... rest of it was just through checking every 15 - 20 mins........

Give Lucky a pat and the mare a good cuddle from all of us here at Stockies when you see them next!!

my alarm is different. we have tested it and made sure it work already. though saying that never had an experience with them and i still will do my usual checks. i dont have a foalguard or magic breed, i have a mositure sensor one.

congrates to the owners of healthy foal, poor guys probably have a bad feeling with breeding now.

Poor Lucky has had a slight argument with her fence and is now sporting a few stitches but will recover well I'm sure.
She really is a very lucky little girl she has such caring owners who are doing everything right
They reckon only the good ones ever get into this much trouble so lets hope she is a future Melbourne Cup winner for her owners.
