Default My first foal for the season...

Well if I'm honest, it's not my foal at all.

One of my friends is in Melbourne and rang me today to say that her pony had her foal early. Not only that she had it in a paddock with two other horses and she was freaking out that something would go wrong.

I was in Mundijong but made the trek home to find this cute little knee high package. The geldings couldn't care less about the foal and Mindy was fine. Due to the lack of light (was just on sundown) and me being a semi stranger, there was NOOOOOO way on earth I was getting close to her or her foal!! She growled at me, snapped her teeth n kicked up her heels. So I kept my distance.

I will check on them again tomorrow. Still no idea as to whether we have a colt or filly?? But 'it' is cute all the same! And more importantly mum n bub are healthy.

Thats nice to know. Linda bought her as she was cute, and doesn't know anything about her breeding etc. On the other hand I LOVE to know history!!
