What stunning horses the Walers are.

My Great Grandfather took his Waler "Binty" to Egypt with him. He was in the 10th Lighthorse Brigade. My GG returned home with shrapnel still in him, but sadly Binty never made it home again.

Merrylegs - Shishka is just gorgeous. Her colouring is just to die for.

Happypaint, what a sad story. At least your GG had his friend with him.

He is seriously devine isn't he. It's just a shame that Bushfire and Dreamers sensational stallions are all over East. Boo hoo.

Marianne, there is a mob of brumbies a bit north of Perth that have been found with that colouring, very similar looking horses

My first pony was 1/2 Arab 1/2 Brumby.
He was absolutely fantastic, though extremely feisty. Feet as hard as nails and could live of the smell of an oily rag.
I could do anything with him.

Here are some shots of him when he was younger and competing with me

3 foot x-country at Horsemans

Jumping at home - Stables in Gwelup (anyone else ever agist there?)

lol - showing his personality

And now at about 28/29 years old taken just before Christmas 07
