My new horse gets a bit looky sometimes and I've had quite a bit of trouble with it.. I get quite nervous myself but I contacted her old owner and she told me just to keep her focused on the job for the first 5-10 minutes of the ride until she settles down.. I just do 10 metre circles and serpentines and half circles and flexing to the inside then to the outside and lots of transitions (fast walk, slow walk, jog trot, lengthened trot) and she settle and listens to me.. As long as I keep her mind on the job she is too busy thinking to shy at things.. I hope this helped.. I also feed my performance horses pure magnesium..

Cheers..
