Don't make this mare your problem. If there are other horses in the paddock with her then just load Red and go. She will perform a bit but should settle. Let her owners know what time you are going to be down there and advise them that you feel it would be best if they are down there to attend to their mare.

I have a mare with separation anxiety, she has attached herself to Mysty who we take to shows every now and then. I just load and go, Paris performs for a while - she is a fence walker, but soon settles
