Oh man it is very frustrating isn't it!!
My only suggestion would be to use the time that you have left there to seperate them in the paddock (e.g put electric tape right down the middle to they have half and half and then move him one paddock away etc) then atleast she wont freak out too much to start with! I have found that if they atleast have their own paddock they aren't AS dependant... unfortunately i doubt anything will help until your horse is gone! Good luck!
