Thumbs down Pain in the butt mare

one of my mums non horsey friends bought a horse and me being the generous idiot that i am, offered to let her keep it with my horse at my agistment paddock. shes a 7yo OTT TB mare and in the few weeks shes been in my paddock, shes become really attached to Red. I HATE CO- DEPENDENT HORSES!!!!
Red is a loner and prefers ppl to other horses so hes no problem, but when i take him out of the paddock every night to rug him, i have to stand him close to the fence or she tries to get out.
im moving this weekend and taking Red with me, but i know that when i take him out and put him on the float, the pain in the butt mare will go thru the fence and most likely seriously hurt herself
how am i going to get around this problem??
i was gonna ask the owner to come and handle the mare until ive taken Red away, but she hasnt handled a horse in 30 years, let alone an OTTTB, and im worried that shell get hurt. and she doesnt want anyone else to touch her horse. ARRGGHH!!!! any ideas stockis???
