Yes, as others have said, should be no problems, except you will have to find someone small and experienced to do the follow-up saddle work.
I bought an 11.2 hh 12 year old palouse stallion, almost untouched but fairly friendly so we had him gelded and we broke and educated him over about a year.
He is now perfectly safe for most small riders.
I just wish I had seen the horseproblems guy's method of mouthing at that time, there would have been a much better and quicker result than the method I used.
