I had a mare a few weeks ago that had diarrhoea which went for a couple of weeks also, I rang my vet and after eliminating new growing grass, rye grass in the hay, sand problems, he suggested that I might have a red worm problem even though mine are regulary wormed... he suggested worming every day for 6 days with Panacur and on the 6th day with Equest, I couldnt get Panacur so used Equest for all 6 and she is now okay..I suggest you ring your vet as it is not normal for adult horses to have diarrhoea
