'Casanova' is a well built, eye catching gelding that is regretfully for sale due to me having twin babies and he deserves to be in a competition home. Standing 17 hands, he has just turned 4 years old. He has the build of his Warmblood cross dam ('Chopin' from Ludendorff and Abbey Bloodline x thoroughbred) and the athletisism of his thoroughbred father (Aly Kingston x Donavor NZ TB).
18 months ago Casanova was started and broken in enough for three outside of the yard rides and he was a gem the whole way through as he has a very trainable and willing nature. I then found out I had twins and had to stop riding immediately so did not finish his education as I wanted, so I would not count him as entirely broken in. He would have to be started again but with his respectful nature & good foundations this would not take long.
Casanova does have a lump in his left false nostril, he has been taken to the vet in Kojonup and have had swabs and the test results have come back as '...The mass is an inclusion cyst or "Atheroma" seen most commonly in the false nostril..." As the vet said these dont cause any discomfort or obstruction to the breathing they are purely cosmetic and can get taken off whenever in a basic procedure.
I would ideally like to sell him as is today but this would have to be to a home that is experienced and knowledgable and has broken horses in before or go to the breakers/trainer for it to be safe for all. As mentioned very regretful sale as 4 years ago we bred him specifically for me to compete again but I have to be fair to him and he is in the stage of his life when he wants to learn.
