I cannot figure out what colour to put on my little grommit!
Any ideas would be great!
this thread should be in showing!!
greens always look good on chestnuts
cannot go wrong
Hunter green or maybe a burgandy/gold combination?
He is lovely btw
What do you want to do with her? (hacking, jumping etc)
And what colour gear/jacket do you have?
I will start hacking with her then want to do some eventing and sj once she is more educated.
Got black saddle and bridle.
Cobalt blue, the brighter the better!
What colour is your jacket?
If it's navy then I'd definitely put some blue in your browband, especially if you want to use either purple or green (because they're on the same side of the colour wheel).
Green always looks good on chestnuts but it's not seen much in the hack ring these days.
The most common look in the hack ring is red, white and blue. With your boy being chestnut plus having a lot of white on his face I'd go for something that's mostly blue, then a bit of red and just a touch of white.
Otherwise I'd go for a combination of blues, or navy blue and a pale purple would look nice too.
I love how everyone thinks she is a he, she has such girlie eyes!
As for suggestions navy would look nice, I personally wouldn't put any white in due to the blaze being quite high unless it was going to be white along the top of the browband and a solid colour along the bottom
I would go navy, gold and a small amount of cream.
Well done Hayley, you have done a great job with this girl. She is looking super
Thanks for the opinions guys, think I will definitely go with blues.
Yes she is definitely a she and a tarty one at thAt, her name is princess.
Bethy I have navy and black jackets but I wouldn't wear black on her, so will go the navy.
Thanks Lakota, we are getting there slowly, can't wait to start competing her just waiting for a bit more weight and muscle and then I'll be taking her out inhand, then towards the end of the year I'll start competing under saddle, can't wait!
Ooops, I see a chestnut with white and I automatically call them a 'he'
If that's the case Hayley then I would go for a combination of blues. This would look fantastic!!...
