Check out KBS's thread http://www.stockyard.net/vbulletin/colour-questions/26733-colour-test-back.html
Theres some testing info in there
Australia doesn't have many tests and it's just as cheap, probably cheaper to have them done in the US anyway. Just email them first and they will give you a form to include with the hair samples to allow them through quarantine. The is four main ones I guess. Animal genetics is one of the good ones and probably the cheapest. The other one I like is PetDNA.
Horse Testing - Equine Genetic Testing
Pet DNA Services of AZ - Equine Services
Equine Parentage Testing & Research Lab
Horse Coat Color
Oh I meant to say too, I listed the last two in case you wanted the more unusual colours like Dun, Pearl and Champagne done. The first two although very good labs don't do those colours.
I just looked up too, what the import form was called. Ask for the USDA Import Permit.
The dilute society website has all the information and the forms, which have the instructions and the address in America. There is a form that you have to fill in at the post office but it was really easy.
