    Hi
This is a photo of my niece's big horse Dippa. He is a clydie x standardbred x cremello QH.
His colour changes a bit from winter to summer. I have no idea what to call his colour maybe buckskin?????
    Any opinions?
    Cheers Deb

If one of the parents is a Cremello then it is a buckskin

Sire is a bay pinto Clydie and dam (standardbred x QH) was a brown. The grandsire was the cremello, if that info helps.

If his grand sire was a cremello then one of his parents is not a bay or brown as cremello will only produce palomino, buckskin or smokey black ...

    He is gorgeous though :)

Wow that is interesting. That must mean mum wasn't brown but dark buckskin or smokey black. So many things about colour the average person just doesn't know and I am glad I asked about him.

Just got some updated info about Dippa and I got the info wrong mixed the two horses, sorry guys.
Sire was cremello QH and mum was dark brown Standardbred x clydie. That should make him a buckskin, is that correct??????
