We have been asked to take on 15 horses long term spelling ( we are an agistment centre) and I am wondering what to charge??? Any opinions would be appreciated.
Hay rolls to start and then onto grass. They will be on 100 acres.

I pay $10 for that, per horse (I only own one lol). The herd is about 20. But there is year round feed so no hay rolls supplied.. As an agistment centre you will want to make money (mine is private) and you will go through a hay roll in 2 days I assume.

I'd think like $40-50 a week per horse whilst being fed.. down to $25 when feed is plentiful. Assuming they are all from one owner? Jeez.. that's $675 and $375..

i use to pay $35/week for similar spelling on 170acre hill paddock. Horses were check daily, had water access in dams and hay rolls were put out as needed (for no extra charge).
