Does anyone know a company that will offer insurance for vet cover if your horse has had colic before? I read some companies wont cover you if they have had it and get it again. Also do they cover dental work or just medical bills?

Have a look at Petplan, I have a friend who's horse had colic and she insured without any amendments to the policy. They cover vet bills as well with a minimum excess. Don't know about dentistry, may come under vet bill??

I'm with Petplan and I'm FAIRLY sure that if your horse has had colic it will be exempt from cover for the first 2 years of the policy - it will then be reviewed...
