i can start this cos i was there this morning! :p managed to pick up a lovely from Magic too. @)

some DREAMY ponies out there today. i had a little cry when this GORGEOUS little pony won the under 15hh derivative class (i think it was). don't know the pony but they were in a big class. great job! my friend's pony looked a million bucks with his rider. There's a lot of hard work & slog that goes into getting a horse to such a big show.

congrats already to everyone competing. you all look fantastic & so admirably presented. top class!

We had an awesome but very long day, well weekend actually. My little daughter Grace rode our homebred Brayside Butterscotch to win the Junior Rider Under 12 years, I was so proud of her :)

Our three babies did us so proud today, especially after sitting in those stables since 6.30am this morning and not getting in their classes until 5.30pm ish.

Brayside Karmaa - 1st Arabian Riding Pony Filly

Brayside Brilliance - 1st Arabian Riding Pony Colt
Champion Arabian Riding Pony Junior Exhibit, and
Supreme Champion Arabian Derivative Exhibit of the Show.

Brilliance (aka George) has won those placings two years in a row now, as weanling last year and now as a yearling :)

Brayside Flaunt It - 1st Arabian Riding Pony Gelding
Reserve Champion Arabian Riding Pony Junior Exhibit.

What a HUGE THRILL it was to see the line up for Champion ARP all Brayside Ponies. I love this show it is a long day but a good one. Can't wait for photos now. Thanks heaps to the generous sponsors, supporters, volunteers, committee and the person who made all the beautiful garlands.

Well done to Brayside for supreme junior derivative :)*

I was very happy with my two, particularly Ameenah as she was so cruisy for her first show :D

No photos from me until tomorrow either as I can't be bothered turning the computer on or digging the camera out of the car :D

I rode Golden Crest Matrix for Cherokee Lodge, he is just improving every ride, love him. :)

Champion Ridden Derivative Stallion of the year :D
Finalist in the Galloway show hunter
  18. I watched the HOTY section. It is a shame there were so many scratchings as the numbers were low enough without them.

It is a pity that it is no longer run as a true HOTY. I think the derivative section would be stronger if it was pony/galloway/hack, this way the big mares compete against the big geldings etc. Really strong class in the under 15 hand geldings though, any of them could have won.
