So I found the last thread on this which was 9/10 and didnt really answer any of the questions so i thought I was make a new thread.

For people that feed or have feed topOn what horses was it for and what work load were they in and how long was it before you saw results? Im looking at it for my new tb mare and want something I can feed to help with the topline build up combined with her work.

Also what prices am I looking at? Do they sell it at budget stockfeeds. Im going to ask tomorrow but wanted to suss out first :)

Any before and after pics welcome

Budget is $130 for 3kg, oakford want $166 for 3kg!

Bio John sell it for $114 for 3kg

My girl bulks up on it without work but she has a natural topline, obviously with work it works even better, I usually just feed it in her small 'after work' feed but if I am trying to bulk her up for a specific show then she gets it every night in the 2 weeks leading up.

ACTIVE CONSTITUENTS EACH 1 kg CONTAINS:
    Chromium Picolinate
    42 mg/g

    Creatine Citrate
    22 mg/g
    Gamma Oryzanol
    75 mg/g
    Methyl Sulfonyl Methane
    30 mg/g

Oh wow so it really works that well you can increase 2 weeks before and actually see a difference. It says on their website increase 3 days before a show but I didnt really think it would do much. Thanks.

A friend lives close to bio john so might get him to pick it for me :)

Well, it does for me cause she has good topline regardless, but if the horse needed to bulk up a lot i'd say give it a month to see a pretty noticeable difference, combining with the correct work :)

It really depends on the horse

I love it, and it smells so yummy :)

This is Lilly after being on it 3 weeks straight, she had been worked 5 days in a row before this pic was taken but that was it at the time

Like I said she's always had a good topline but it deff bulked her neck up

Great stuff worked great on my TB :)

Id suggest give it for a month straight to build the top line and then after that just after every ride :)

    Other options?

You could try Muscle Up. It is $69.30 for 3kg. Muscle up is a Natural Protein Powder.

I also have 2 tubs of Natrozol forte 1.2kg which are short dated (May 2011) going out for $49.95. If contains # Gamma Oryzonol - 50 mg/g
    # Also contains: Chromium Aminomin, Tri-Creatine Malate

hi how long would the Natrazol last one horse, in moderate training for endurance, gets ridden 1 or 2 times a week. :)

no point in giving it if you are working once or twice a week - need to exercise the horses muscles, combined with high quality protein feed and Topon or Natrazol to get any results otherwise it is a waste.

Depending on the size of the horse and the intensity of the training regime you would feed 15-45g of Natrozol Fort per day. I agree with CDA with regard to your training regime, Natrozol would be more aimed at a horse that is being work more frequently.
If you are looking to protect the muscles and try to help against the stiffness that can happen when they are not in a daily exercise regime you could look at products like Vitamin E or Muscle XL and feed that within 15 minutes of finishing the workout. You could also look at the Magnesium Oil - a magnesium rich massage oil which operates transdermally.

i was asking as my horse needs topline, he is 16yrs. old, a good doer, and when fit holds fitness well. i try and train more often, but between work and a non-horsey hubby, things get a bit tricky. ';' thats why im asking what would be best.:)*
