I love Phillipa :) I think shes great ... Also Tim Ellis is a good jumping instructor.

  4. I've had lessons with Les before - he's great... thoroughly recommend him! He's fun too.

My current instructor is also great (ex Advanced Event rider) however he's not taking on any new students atm - I've got him exclusively. (lucky me!)

I can personally vouch for all the instructors I mentioned in my previous post....all of them are great.
Donna also has the odd lesson from Roger Kammann & he is super....however he lives in Manjimup & dosent give private lessons ( he trains with Donna LOL )
We do have clinics with him & people come from all over the state to attend them ( he is that good) The other person Donna has had lessons with...or a clinic, who is in WA is Glen Bolger & he is great :)
I was a bit worried how Glen would go with little kids but at the end of the clinic I was ready to call him instructer wiggle LOL....he was GREAT
There are many great SJ instructors in WA & each has something really good to offer. Each focuses on different things & you will get alot out of anyone of them.
The other thing to keep an eye out for is specialist instructors who come over just for clinics. Join WASJA & you will get the info.
Chris Chugg is coming over next week, even if you cannot have a lessonwith him, just watching will teach you alot ........he is amazing & we found him absolutely wonderful .....Donna got heaps out of his lessons.
He is a Grand Prix WC rider & won the Elysian on his stallion Vivant (1.60 class).
He will be at the SEC Mon, Tues & Wed next week........go & listen & you will be amazed at what you learn .....or better still, go into the arena as crash crew for awhile. You really do learn alot from being there & watching & listening.....& guess what, its free to be a crash crew person LMAO :)

Lol Cait, YAY! Depending on where I am next year.... you can camp at mine!!:)*

Yep, Chuggy will cost at least an arm... lol! -actually not that bad think its about $100 per class... ?? cant remember, but can be worth it if you are of a mind to learn.
I'll be dropping in for chunks of it... any body else keen to have a look-in?

Okey dokey. I might have to continue teaching myself until I marry a really really rich instructor (in my dreams!!).
