Show Jumping...

    If you want to get more involved in jumping, Hills SJ and WASJA run regular jumping only events. they do cater for most levels, and usually have a training ring set up. a training round is where you ride over a sj course uncompetitively. there are no placings, but also no eliminations. gives you a great oppertunity to ride a course without any pressure, and see all the different fills. they start the heights quite low, for the young horses/riders, and during the day goes up.
    they also have their competition rings, which some classes have high point awards (end of year the person with the most points over the season for one grade wins)

    Thanks very much. I rekon I'll give show jumping a miss with Arnie. He's really really good at flat work and I rekon we can stick with our hacking and see how dressage goes. OH! and go for hoons in the bush / over logs...
