Here here !! maybe we should start a * group
hmmmm... am with springbok here.
I think if i am paying a decent entry fee - i expect an environment where i can show my horse to its ability ( apart from normal horse show distractions.
Certainly at an event of this calibre, I would not expect to have members of the audience running amok in the playing field.
You wouldnt tolerate it at any other state level sporting competition would you?
It is a public space and you cannot stop children and dogs being there for whatever reason. If a kid gets kicked because they ran in front of a horse and werent being supervised...well maybe they will learn the hard way. I do not agree with kids in the ring though and totally agree with them being asked to leave, but how the hell were they allowed in there when there are ring stewards on each entrance???
Dogs shows are run at the privately owned CAWA (Canine Assoc)grounds and horse shows are sometimes run in PUBLIC reserves/spaces (Examples are Perth Horse and Pony Club and Gosnells) therefore there is no comparison
Well Done Scorpio, Oz & Music looked great!!*
Well done everyone
Can someone please tell me what the numbers were like in each section of the Newcomer Hunter classes
Congratulations Ash* A well deserved win for you and Tigga. You guys must be soooo proud**)
The voice of reason and common sense, should be more of it.**)**)**)**)

Sorry mods won't do it again
Gosh that is not many. Nanna do you know the numbers in the show horse newcomers? Thankyou

C.p was in the classic for small show hunter galloway and didnt even get a look in but aparently he and his rider rhi would have done me proud! but i spose thats showing at the end of the day. judges opinion. ';'
well done to all the winners from the weekend- some spectacular horses!!
We were so chuffed with Tigga (Morefair Kingsley). He was a pure pleasure to take out. I cant believe how nice a nature this little horse has.
He is a credit to his breeders.
He won the 2010 Show Hunter Galloway Debutante (Newcommer)
2nd in his Show Hunter Height class
1st in SH Light/Medium weight class
Went in for his Champion workout.. all was good until Ashleigh got a bit enthusiastic with her leg aide for the gallop... little bugger put in a pigroot...lol Was such a laugh as that require effort *
We love the little boy (it was something George would have done )
Huge thanks to the SHC for a great, well run show.
Thank you to Lilydale Road for the lovely Woolen rug
Photos when i can get photo bucket to play nice ';'
