This has probably been done before, but I'd like to see everyones different shades of Palomino!

My aunties colt (by my stallion) was a rather obvious pally despite being a darker shade when he was born, but now at 5mths he appears so red/dark I am wondering if he might be a flaxen chestnut after all!

Would love to see pics of others :))

He sold not long after & i didn't see him again until late Feb with his owner. :) These pics were still summer coat but rugged etc.
Love his colour, it's coming out nicely. :)

And his sister, Aurora - sadly (well actually it's for her benefit!) she isn't on a diet suitable for show condition & she hasn't had the best start from weaning but i wonder how much of a difference her coat would be if she was on a different diet?

    10 days old or so?:

5 mths old, weaned then straight to Murdoch!:

And now, her colour/coat isn't as nice as it could be but we've started her on Tuffrock C+. :)
She's still not 100% sound in these pics.

This is a picture of the colt I mention in OP.
    Him as a foal - a pally I thought:

And at a 4m old, looking like flaxen chestnut?

For anyone interested, test results came back today and the above foal is nn (negative) for Cream. As a baby I was pretty sure he was dilute but at a few months old he started to redden so we had him tested :)
