hey i was just wondering if anyone had any ideas/tips that could help me to remove brown/yellow stains from white socks? i have tried a heap load of horse products but none of them have been able to remove the stains. does anyone have any 'home remedies' or any great products that would be able to help? I compete in hacking so it really is a must to remove stains. thanks heaps :)

Clip the socks out and use Champion Tails stain remover. Always worked for me. White Cover Creme is also a must.

Ye Olde Remedy - Borax. Very diluted. It comes in powdered form in bags and you can get it at most supermarkets (near the washing powder section). My horse has a ridiculous stocking that I can't clip as it wobbles up his leg in bits and pieces, so after washing I load it liberally (reeeaaallly thick) with baby powder. Just brush off whatever is left before the show.
