What ring were you judging in Tintara?
Since she is probably busy at work to answer , Tintara judged ring 2
YAY George & Gerbra!!!! Biggest congrats and we are very proud of the two of you!!! What a little superstar he is. Only six weeks now til his mum pops out a little brother or sister, hope it's as good!!!!
All I have to say is next time ahaha
I won't be going next time if the TB's are that far down on the programme, if I had of known I would be in the ring at 1.30pm I wouldn't have arrived at 7.30 but 11.30 instead
Thankyou!!, I'm so proud of him to, i cant wait to see what Prim pops out either, and i'm sure it will be as good
Thanks K, i still cant believe it, lol
Gerbra, when he got called for SOS, I saw you shed a few tears! and so you should, what a proud moment that would of been! I was looking at him, coming down to the rings, before the classes started, and I said to my friend "ohhh hes nice!, beautiful condition"
and he was
Congrats Gerbra, he is a Stunning little man
lol yep that was me, i was balling, Love him to bits, There were some really nice horses out there, i was so shocked when he was called out
I know Chris Ros was the photographer, but i saw a few other cameras around the place, i forgot mine, of all days, did anyone else happen to get a pic of George at all in the SOS?
Thanks, where was your big boy?
At home in the paddock in his very best hairy winter coat lol!
Oh yay!! That ^^^ is what i try to explain to people all the time when they think their "pretty" horse was hard done by in the show ring. Little do they know it has offset cannons, a twisted leg, behind the knee or cow hocked! But its pretty!
Thanks for that Tintara )
Great results everyone and well done to all competitors
also THANK YOU to everyone who helped out at the show - it was a long and tiring day and you help is very much appreciated (I should've bought more choccies) *
Glad you like your garland Kylie **)
well I was one of those people that rings were being held up for,and I appreciate it very much.We travel a long way for shows so want to be able to show our ponies in what classes they are eligable for.I believe that a horse show is there to show off your horse to its best and if it means being in 2 or 3 rings then that makes the drive more worth while. We dont go to a show just to put our horse in at 11.00 and go home at 11.30 when we finished. We socialise and look at all the other breeds and support our friends in the ring.So I dont think a time limit can really be put on a ring,an approx time yes but the show caters for every one.If we just had one class to go in with one pony(like the royal) then a 400k round trip doesnt seem worth while. These shows that cater for people being in multiple rings to me are terrific. It really makes the day worth while and enjoyable.....Just my opinion... Oh and thanks to the guys who run it and to the judges and helpers...)
just found some pics of ruby and george
