my horse has gone through about 3 "kool coats" this year and its driving me crazy!

i go to his paddock and its shredded all around his paddock. do you know any brand that doesnt rip? also the little metal clips keep coming undone so his leg straps are always hanging!!

Weatherbeeta Freestyle rugs or combos. I have serial rug wreckers, and so far so good. **) They are really tough.

Unfortunately, that's why Kool Coats are cheap, not very good quality. Material is thin, they stretch, and the clips are pretty hopeless. With cottons, you get what you pay for. Skye Park are more the top of the line ($80 to $90), but the ripstop material is thicker, they don't lose their shape and fit well. Of course, is still rip-able, so if you have an itchy horse and a fence that a rug can get caught on, it'll still get ripped.

    Ciao. Kiley.
