I am moving to south Florida with my two South African horses. I am loath to turn them out when I meet my first cyclone but do have a few queries from local horse owners. When a storm hits is there a huge build up of barometric pressure as in a sand storm? And, please don't laugh, from which direction of the coast can I expect the storm? Or could it come from east or west equally? I ask this as I intend to custom build stables. So again, anay advice is welcome

Maybe if you asked this question on an American forum rather than an Australian one, you may get a more accurate answer. We are not always 100% up to date on what happens during American cyclones.

Aren't they hurricanes in America. I don't know that they behave the same as an Aussie cyclone either????
