Hi, I have a cooling question.
I have seen dog coats made from chamois fabric that you wet then wring out and put on your dog. ( like the chamois you use on the car) Apparently they stay cool for a few hours. I'm wondering if this would be okay to use on horses on those 40 degree days? I know these two animals sweat differently and horses are like us humans.
Wondering if it is a. Good idea or would they catch a chill? I think if I was outside in the heat I would like a nice cool wet top? Lol
    Any feedback?

No rug in hot weather is the best option. **)

I use saxon white mesh combos all year round except on really winter days then I change to a cotton underneath her winter rugs.

They are the best ones I have found as even in showers they dry quickly and even on those really nasty hot days we have just had they were fine.

I keep mine rugged as the flys and mozzies drive my lot mad otherwise even with fly spray.:D
