The lady i bought my horse from said she fed him copper sulphate & sulpher & lime. She said the copper was for his coat and tail growth, but i didn't continue feeding it when i took him home. I don't really know much about it but am worried now after reading some of these posts as to the long term damage it may cause him, as she fed him a spoon full every day. Does anyone know what the side effects can be or if any health problems can be detected from feeding copper? Also she gave me her bags of copper/sulphate/lime which i've never used so if anyone wants it you can have it, free of charge :)
