Do Combos rub mane out???

    I am the same, never been a problem and I have WB cotton freestyle combos. That is the only combo they wear though, and maybe an unlined one like Landa Lite if it is winter. No thick filled or woolly ones.

    I've never had a problem with neck rugs rubbing out a mane, yes they do tend to slip down a bit, but generally don't rub.

    However, as soon as the lockdown happened and I wasn't washing Nev every week for shows, I left him nude for about a week and when I put the rug back on (didn't even wash him first) I noticed midway down his neck was starting to get rubbed. I think the cleaner you keep the mane the less it gets rubbed out.

    thanks for your help guys, i think i will continue to attach the combo to the headcollar to keep it up..thanks for all your help!

    mine is harrison howard. i think it is good as well.
