Cost per horse

    i think the confusion is that moonlight isnt on full board, if you read her post SHE pays for hard feed, which is therefore part board :))

    Not sure if this will help you, but I pay $115 a week, for fully reticulated paddocks, stabled at night, arena etc, fencing isnt great but isnt dangerous, shelters in every paddock etc, lovely property, we are offered a basic meal (so basically a set amount of chaff, lucerne, bran, pony cubes) and anymore we want fed is paid for by the owner of the horse, we also have 2 biscuits of hay a day included, my agistment owner buys bulk hay, chaff, lucerne, I found with my boy (now retired), I was adding 1 bag of equibalance a week ($30) and one bag of micro barley a month ($25). This is a cheap agistment centre in my opinion and I think im the luckiest person in the world to be there, the people are lovely and horses very well looked after !!! but on the same token, the not so good doers do have to have feed added to the basic diet :)*
