Chestnut Standardbreds

    I agree myyky! Pinto Standies are something special. I have 2 mares in foal to a Skewbald Standardbred Stallion for 2011.
    I have just purchased a Piebald Standardbred Stallion who I will stand at stud for 2011 so hopefully you will see more colour on the tracks and in the showring.

    Bubblez on here has a chestnut and a grey standy, and very pretty ones at that **)

    Sorry to hijack your post but here is a photo of my old standardbred. He was a steel grey and had a big white spot on the middle of his back. I thought he was pretty rare. These pics were taken at the age of 5-6, not long before he passed away.

    No sorry Myyky. I am in Victoria. I believe Elegant Stud, who stood Skewbald Standies in WA has since moved to Victoria as well. Looks like we are becoming the most colourful state.
    Does anyone know of other Skewbald Standy Stallions at stud in Australia?


    And this maybe a big ask, but does anyone have a chestnut mare for sale?
